Fast, Local Consultations and Tests
If your GP recommends you see a consultant for a diagnosis, you now have another choice if the NHS cannot provide the help you need.
Key benefits:
- Fast diagnosis
- We can pay up to £1,000 to help you to achieve a satisfactory diagnosis for any health condition
- Funding includes minor outpatient treatment
- Allows for you to see a local consultant who comes recommended by your GP (must hold an NHS post and be registered with a royal college i.e. The Royal College of Surgeons or Physicians).
